Louis Private : 100 desserts on the card
Louis Privat should be in the record books. The tables of Les Grands Buffets, a restaurant that he manages at Narbonne, groan under the weight of 100 desserts. At the centre is a fountain from which six kilos of chocolate continuously flow. Pastry chefs create them daily while the other chefs are busy stirring 200 other dishes for the 500 customers who eat there every day. They work in ideal conditions with their favourite music piped in the kitchens which are decorated with stainless steel art works. In such a place there was not even room to place a crust.
