Do you know what the fees are in case of cancellation of a reservation at Les Grands Buffets ?
Application fees :
Administration fees are offered (free) to all customers coming for lunch or dinner at Les Grands Buffets.
Administrative fees of €5 per person are only charged to customers who cancel their reservation or who do not show up on the day of the reserved date (No Show) - See the General Conditions
Administrative fees are never charged on the moment when the reservation is made.
Cancellation fees :
In the case of a cancellation made no later than 11 days before the date of the reserved meal, only the booking fee of €5 per guest is charged - See the General Conditions
The Customer has the possibility to cancel his reservation until midnight, the day before the date of the meal, however, any reservation canceled between 10 days and 1 day before the planned date of the meal, for a cause not listed among the exemptions provided for in the General Conditions, automatically causes the invoicing of a cancellation fee of €30 per guest cancelled in addition to the administration fee of €5 per guest. The same applies in the case of cancellation of the reservation by Les Grands Buffets due to an expired bank card occurring 10 days or less from the date of the reserved meal.
Exemption from administrative fees and cancellation fees :
The administration fees and cancellation fees are completely free for any reservation that is subject to cancellation corresponding to the exemption cases described in the General Conditions.
Do you know what the fees are in case of No Show for a reservation at Les Grands Buffets ?
No Show Fees :
On the day of the meal, in the event of a No Show and therefore absence of one or more guests or all of the guests concerned by the reservation and in the case where the reservation does not fall within the cases of Exemption provided for in the General Conditions, Les Grands Buffets will charge a No Show fee of €50 per absent guest in addition to the administration fee of €5 per absent guest.
Exemption from application fees and no-show fees (No Show) :
The administration fees and no-show fees are completely free for any reservation that is subject to cancellation corresponding to the exemption cases described in the General Conditions.
I forgot a personal item at the restaurant, what can i do ?
A dedicated telephone number has been set up EXCLUSIVELY for customers who have forgotten a personal item in the restaurant following their meal at Les Grands Buffets.

The Grands Buffets reservation software offers tables for all configurations from 1 to 19 people for lunch and dinner services every day of the year.
You wanted to reserve for an odd number of guests and unfortunately for the dates you consulted other customers have already reserved all the odd tables of the same capacity available, for each of the dining rooms.
For your information, we have recorded more than 2.3 million reservation requests over the last 12 months. This influx far exceeds our capacity, and many requests for reservations cannot be satisfied.
We therefore advise you to check availability for the table of your choice well in advance.

(drinks not included)

All wines are offered at the cellar price!
The bottles served at the table are offered at the same price as at the producer's cellar!
We only accept payment by cash, credit cards and Les Grands Buffets gift vouchers.
What is the dress code to enter Les Grands Buffets ?
IMPROPER ATTIRE = ENTRY REFUSED
For your experience at Les Grands Buffets to be complete, we invite you to live this moment in harmony with the place and to play the game of elegance. We ask you to have the delicacy to present yourself in a dress appropriate to these festive circumstances and to inform all the guests of your party of this legitimate requirement.
At the time of your reservation, you agree to inform and ask all the guests sharing your table to respect the rules relating to dress code in order to be admitted to the Grands Buffets in accordance with our general conditions.
So that you are not denied entry to the restaurant and to guide you in your clothing choices, we remind you that DRESSED BERMUDA SHORTS ARE ACCEPTED BUT THAT THE FOLLOWING OUTFITS ARE PROHIBITED:
- Sportswear
- Shorts, sports bermuda shorts
- Tank top
- Swimsuit / board short
- Individual or team sports jersey (football, rugby, basketball, etc.)
- Flip flops
- Caps and hats are not allowed inside the restaurant.
When is the restaurant open and what are the opening hours?
The restaurant welcomes you every day of the year from 12:00 p.m. to 1:30 p.m. and from 7:15 p.m. to 9:15 p.m.
The restaurant closes at 4.30 p.m. for lunch and at midnight for dinner
Do you still offer Gift Vouchers for purchase?
No, Les Grands Buffets no longer offer gift vouchers for purchase since September 19, 2022,
Gift Vouchers already issued until September 18, 2022 will of course be honored in accordance with their validity date of one year from their date of purchase.
What are the measures to fight COVID put in place at Les Grands Buffets?
Sanitary measures applied to the Grands Buffets:
The person who made the reservation must inform and ask all the guests at his table to respect the obligations which condition access to the Grands Buffets.
A set of strict sanitary measures applicable to all has been put in place to protect you, your children and our employees, rules that we thank you in advance for respecting in order to fully appreciate your experience at Les Grands Buffets.
As the children's play area has been closed and children cannot move around the restaurant alone, parents are also asked to provide activities for their children so that they can remain quietly at the table.
Sanitary measures applied to the Grands Buffets:
At the entrance to the restaurant
- Hand disinfection is mandatory before entering the restaurant, for adults as well as for children
In the restaurant
- The children's play area has been closed to protect our little ones.
- In the buffet area, to access the buffets, it is essential to disinfect your hands. This device applies to adults and children alike.
- Service assistants have been specially recruited and trained. They are posted, gloved, at each of the buffets to slice, cut the dishes and assist you.
- On the buffets, sneeze guards protect the dishes on offer from possible contamination
We insist on the fact that each client of the Grands Buffets must respect these measures which are mandatory in order to be admitted to the Grands Buffets.
I did not receive a confirmation e-mail, what should I do?
We invite you to look in your junk mail (spam), our confirmation email may be sent there automatically.
If, despite this, you do not receive our confirmation email, within 3 hours of your reservation, you can log on to MY ACCOUNT to access the emails sent to you by Les Grands Buffets.
Can I modify the date or time of my reservation ?
No, your reservation cannot be modified, you cannot change the date or time.
If you want to change the date or time of your reservation, you must make a new reservation and then cancel your original reservation.
In the event of the absence of one or more people or all of the people concerned by the reservation and in the event that this or these absences have not occured within the deadlines and conditions provided for in the General Conditions, the Grands Buffets will charge a fixed compensation per person absent in relation to the number of people initially validated during the reservation.
This debit will be made from the bank card account given as a guarantee by the Customer when making his reservation.
An invoice will be sent by email to the Customer who made the reservation.
The Customer will be exempt from cancellation fees in the following cases:
- In the event of force majeure;
- Due to the medical condition, justified by a medical certificate, and occurring after the cancellation period free of charge, of the person or persons absent;
- In the event of a travel incident to the Grands Buffets on the same day only;
- In the event of a positive PCR test for COVID 19 occurring after the free cancellation period;
As specified in the Terms of Sales (Conditions Générales).
Can I change the number of people in my reservation?
Can I change the number of people in my reservation?
No, your reservation cannot be modified, you cannot modify the number of people that you validated when making the reservation.
If you wish to change the number of people, you must make a new reservation and then cancel your original reservation.
In the event of the absence of one or more people or all of the people concerned by the reservation and in the event that this or these absences have not given rise to cancellation within the deadlines and conditions provided for in the General Conditions, the Grands Buffets will charge a fixed compensation per person absent in relation to the number of people initially validated during the reservation.
This debit will be made from the bank card account given as a guarantee by the Customer when making his reservation.
An invoice will be sent by email to the Customer who made the reservation.
The Customer will be exempt from cancellation fees in the following cases:

I want to cancel my reservation, what should I do?
The cancellation conditions are detailed in the General Conditions of your reservation accessible via your MY ACCOUNT personal account.
If you wish to cancel your reservation, you must cancel it directly in your MY ACCOUNT personal account.
In the event of the absence of one or more guests or all of the guests on the day of the reservation, Les Grands Buffets will deduct a fixed compensation per absent guest, regardless of age, from the bank account card given to guarantee by the Customer when booking according to the conditions provided. An invoice will be delivered by email to the Customer who made the reservation.
As an exception, the Customer will be exempt from cancellation fees in the following cases:
- In the event of force majeure, that is to say an unforeseeable, irresistible event external to the absent person, conclusively established and in accordance with the case law in force at the time of the event;
- Due to the medical condition, justified by a medical certificate, and occurring after the cancellation period free of charge, of the person or persons absent;
- In the event of an incident involving the journey to the Grands Buffets on the same day only, justified by any evidence establishing the impossibility for the person or persons absent to reach the Grands Buffets.
- In the event of a positive PCR test for COVID 19 occurring after the free cancellation period, established in a conclusive manner and in accordance with the case law in force at the time of the event.

What is your personnal account "MY ACCOUNT" useful for ?
Since October 12, 2021, customers are asked to create their personal account "MY ACCOUNT" when making a reservation.
From "MY ACCOUNT" you can at any time:
- View all your reservations at Les Grands Buffets
- Cancel your reservation
- Find all the emails sent to you by Les Grands Buffets as part of your reservation process
- Specify the name and age of children benefiting from free meal for children under 6 and half-price for children from 6 to 10 years old
- Change your contact information if you have changed your phone number or email address
- Update your credit card information in order to secure your reservation

I would like to dispute the compensation that was billed to me due to the absence of people initially scheduled at my table on the day of the meal, what should I do?
Were you charged a no-show fee due to the absence of people at your table on the day of the meal you booked?
If you wish to obtain a refund, we invite you to send us your request by postal mail, specifying your reservation number, the date of the meal and the reason for dispute.
You will be able to obtain reimbursement in the following cases:
- In the event of force majeure;
- Due to the medical condition, justified by a medical certificate, and occurring after the cancellation period free of charge, of the person or persons absent;
- In the event of an incident involving the journey to the Grands Buffets on the same day only, justified by any evidence establishing the impossibility for the person or persons absent to reach the Grands Buffets.
- In the event of a positive PCR test for COVID 19 occurring after the no-charge cancellation period, established in a conclusive manner.

How do I pay?
We accept payment by cash, credit cards (Visa, Mastercard) and Grands Buffets gift vouchers.
We do not accept any other type of payment.
American Express card and bank checks are not accepted.
Can we smoke ?
No, the Grands Buffets restaurant is a non-smoking establishment.
Les Grands Buffets restaurant is located within the Espace de Liberté sports complex. Due to the reception of an audience of young people and sportsmen, the Espace de Liberté complex, managed by the Greater Narbonne Agglomeration Community, has been classified entirely NON-SMOKING.
The rules of the Espace de Liberté state that "The establishment is non-smoking. This general provision applicable upon entering the establishment applies to all indoor AND outdoor spaces: swimming pool, skating rink, bowling alley, bowling pub, restaurant, outdoor green spaces, reception hall, toilets and changing rooms, terraces, bleachers, common rooms and staff rooms ”.
Consequently, it is forbidden to smoke in all places dependent on the Grands Buffets or made available to the customers of the Grands Buffets, including the Garden and the toilets.
How do I get to Les Grands Buffets?
The restaurant is located in Narbonne, at the Liberté roundabout, within the Espace de Liberté leisure complex.
Coming from the A9 motorway: take exit 38 "Narbonne Sud", after the toll turn right towards "Center Ville", then at the 3rd roundabout take the 2nd exit on the right "Les Grands Buffets".

How can I book a table at Les Grands Buffets?
Reservations are made exclusively via the Internet !
On our website, in a few clicks, book via the reservation form by choosing your date.
A confirmation will reach you by email a few minutes later.
The duration of the meal is not limited, the restaurant is open for lunch service until 4.30 p.m. and for evening service until 12.00 a.m. So you can enjoy the moment until the end of the service.
Why do I need a credit card?
In view of the many people who make reservations and who, without warning us, do not honor them, we are obliged to take a credit card imprint for any reservation in order to guarantee it.
No sum will be debited to you from this bank imprint if you honor the reservation or if you cancel it within the deadlines.
Otherwise, the absence of people provided for in the reservation but not present on the day of the meal will incur costs.
Cancellation of the reservation is made exclusively via the internet by accessing your MY ACCOUNT personal account.
In the event of the absence of one or more or all of the guests on the day of the reservation, Les Grands Buffets will charge a lump sum regardless of their age, on the bank account card given as a guarantee by the Customer when booking according to the conditions provided.
An invoice will be sent by email to the Customer who made the reservation.
Do you cater for birthday parties?
For birthdays, a musical surprise is brought to your table with candles and music.
Does the restaurant have disability access?
For people with reduced mobility, there is an access ramp from the car park, then an elevator at the reception hall of the Espace de Liberté which takes you directly to the restaurant.
Are animals allowed in the restaurant?
We do not accept any animals in the restaurant and in the gardens.
The regulations do not allow us to accept them because of the presentation of the dishes in the form of buffets.
What about the wine list?
All bottles served at the table or to take away are at the same price as at the producer's cellar.
Many of the 70 vintages on the wine list are offered by the glass.
On Monday January 28, 2020 at the Hotel Intercontinental Paris, during the award ceremony of the Tour des Cartes, the competition for the best wine lists in France, organized by the national magazine Terre de Vins, the restaurant Les Grands Buffets won the Special Prize for the best wine list by the glass.
The jury was chaired by Philippe Faure-Brac, Best Sommelier of the World in 1992.

Salon Doré Jean de La Fontaine
With this brand new dining room, Les Grands Buffets enters the splendor of exceptional palaces.
Its decoration is indeed spectacular: the work is signed by the companions of the Ateliers de France experienced in techniques of renovation of French heritage (Châteaux of Versailles and Chambord). 7 layers for the realization of the staffs on which are placed 18,000 gold leaves. Two portraits of Jean de La Fontaine complete this fabulous decor, as well as 12 illustrations relating to some of his fables.
The Royal Tent Jean Baptiste Nolin
This room is enriched with a map of the Canal Royal (future Canal du Midi) produced by Jean-Baptiste Nolin, cartographer of Louis XIV.

Ann Carrington Room (formerly Corbières Room)
An original work by Ann Carrington sits in the central display case of this dining room. A similar piece is on display at the British Museum. The creations of this English artist are collected by many personalities such as Elton John and Issey Miyake.
Max Le Verrier room (formerly Clape room)
The famous La Clarté statue by French sculptor Max le Verrier stands in the heart of this room, along with other pieces by the same artist, an immersion in the art deco spirit of the 1920s.
Hervé di Rosa Garden
Outdoor garden with fountain decorated with Foumban tribal sculptures by Hervé di Rosa.
Your reservation in the gardens may be canceled in the event of inclement weather, if it cannot be transferred indoors due to lack of availability.
2 private dining rooms of 10 and 20 seats are also proposed, subject to availability, at no additional cost. If the number of guests of your reservation allows for it, these rooms will be proposed to you during the booking process.
Are strollers, prams or bassinets allowed inside the restaurant ?
For safety reasons, strollers, prams and bassinets or any other bulky objects are prohibited in the restaurant so as not to clutter the spaces between the tables.
These spaces must remain free for public movement in the event of an emergency evacuation. We must also ensure that all emergency exits and walkways are clear at all times to enable rapid evacuation.
Therefore, in order to guarantee the safety of all our customers and employees of our establishment, we are forced to prohibit the entry of strollers, prams and bassinets into the LES GRANDS BUFFETS restaurant.

I booked in the garden. What happens in the event of bad weather?
In the event that the weather conditions forecast by Météo France on the days preceding the reservation, or appearing on the day of the reservation, make the use of the Garden uncomfortable, the Customer will be informed by email on the day of the meal and will have the possibility to cancel its reservation without costs or compensation from either side.
In the event that the weather conditions forecast by Météo France on the day of the reservation make it impossible to use the Garden, Les Grands Buffets will cancel, without charge or compensation on either side, the reservation and will inform the Customer by email on day of the meal.
Do you offer organic products ?
Bio and Diversity
Eggs, pasta, cereals, fruits, vegetables and raw vegetables, chocolates, wines and cheeses are ORGANIC.
Do you take a waiting list ?
We do not take a waiting list.
Any table that becomes available is immediately offered for reservation on our online booking portal.

Do we need a reservation at les Grands Buffets ?
Reservations at the Grands Buffets restaurant are not compulsory but strongly recommended as the restaurant is full every day.
However, last minute cancellations are possible, so we invite you to check our availability online until the last day.
